The Need: With pack shoulder straps evolving in contouring and comfort, why shouldn’t the battle harness shoulder straps evolve the same way?

The Answer: While developing the shoulder strap suspension system for our Cobra Packs, we made them removable and added suspension straps to secure a pistol belt. The seminal feature is a side lock buckle quick release six inch drop. This allows for raising and lowering the belt load while on the move – an old infantryman’s road march technique. Then as the product gained acceptance, we combined lessons learned from our original six-point LBE harness we developed in 1997. We ended up with a super comfortable harness that can also be inserted into the Cobra Pack as the suspension harness. Also can accept small packs affixed to the rear panel or shoulder straps.
